SAFETY SOLUTIONS & SUPPLY has had a longtime affiliation with the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI). That relationship expanded recently to include official ASHI certification of our popular Basic First Aid/CPR and AED for Adults training course and credentialing of our course instructors.

It provides certification in lifesaving topics for laypeople, professionals, and organizations that need or want to meet regulatory requirements. ASHI’s flexible certification training programs include CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and AED (automated external defibrillator), emergency medical responder, basic life support, and advanced cardiac life support.
ASHI was acquired by and now is part of the Health & Safety Institute (HSI) family of brands for workplace safety, training, and emergency-care solutions. AHSI consists of more than 20,000 professional safety and health education members. Founded in 1996 as a partnership of safety and health instructors, ASHI has developed to include more than 8,000 training centers across the United States and in several other nations.

In the absence of an infirmary, clinic, or hospital close to the workplace, OSHA requires that someone or more than one person be adequately trained at the workplace to render first aid.
